Information you give us
When you submit the free estimate form, you choose what to share. The form asks for your name, phone number and the service you need. It also offers optional fields: city, property address, email, a preferred time for a visit, and a description of your project. If you call, text or email us, we receive whatever you send, along with your phone number or email address.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It records things like the pages you view, the device and browser you use, your approximate location, and how you got here. It also records when you tap our phone number or text link, or submit the estimate form. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies for this.
How we use it
- To respond to your estimate request and schedule a visit
- To prepare and follow up on estimates and proposals
- To keep records of our business as the law and good practice require
- To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them
We do not sell your personal information.
Who else handles it
We rely on a few service providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies:
- Formspree receives and forwards what you submit in the estimate form to our email.
- Netlify hosts the website and may log technical details such as IP addresses.
- Google provides Analytics, and delivers the fonts used on this site, which means your browser contacts Google servers when a page loads.
- Our email provider stores the messages you send us.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or safety.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and related records for as long as we need them to do business with you, to keep required records, and to resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices and California rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have additional rights under California privacy law, and we will honor those requests as the law requires. To make a request, email contact@goldengrovecontractors.com or call 510-650-2249. We may need to confirm your identity first.
You can limit analytics by blocking cookies in your browser, or by installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Children
This site is for property owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, for example by adding advertising tools, we will update this page and the date above.
